Industry-Institute Interaction Held at Govt Polytechnic College Kathua

Govt Polytechnic College Kathua organized an Industry-institute interaction in the college campus today in which the Engineers from Medley Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd participated. The programme was presided over by Er. Arun Bangotra Principal of the college who while speaking on the occasion said that interaction between academia and industry is the need of the hour. It provides a platform for both the students as well as faculty members to get aware of industry expectations of skill sets required for students. This enables students to be aware of the lacunae in their skills and provide an opportunity to upgrade them and enables Faculty to be aware of industry expectations & train students to meet these expectations. From the Industry Er Nishant Iqbal Raja, Manager (HR) and Er Vijay Bali delivered a lecture to the students on Human Resource Management and created awareness among the students about the environment of industry by providing real practical knowledge to students and boosted the self confidence of the students to become an entrepreneur. The final year students and faculty of the college also interacted with Engineers from the industry. The programme was co-ordinated by Er Ajay Thapa, Lecturer, Mechanical Engg Deptt, Incharge of Training and Placement cell and presented the vote of thanks.
