The students are admitted in this college through entrance test conducted by BOPEE for Three year diploma in two discipline of engineering viz. Mechanical Engineering and Instrumentation & Control Engineering. The application forms have to be submitted online through BOPEE website www.jakbopee.org/www.jakbopee.net in the month of Feburary every year and the entrance test is conducted tentatively in the month of May every year. Admission Fee

The Admission fee is fixed by the Government and revised from time to time. At present, the following fee structure is in vogue:

1st Year (1st Semester) = Rs.2130/-
2nd Year(3rd Semester) = Rs.1930/-
3rd Year(5th Semester) = Rs.1930/-

Note: The 2nd Year and 3rd Year fee should be deposited at the beginning of 3rd and 5th Semester respectively. Fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances except Rs.200/- (Library Security Deposit).

 

Admission Criteria

A Candidate who is desirous of seeking admission in the three year Diploma programme in Mechanical Engineering & Instrumentation & Control Engineering must:

1. Be Permanent Resident of J&K State.
2. Have passed the Secondary School Examination (Matriculation) from recognised statutory board. The Candidate appeared/appearing in 10th class examination can also apply for the Entrance Test.
3. Have obtained 40 % marks in 10th class in case of open merit and 37% in case of reserved category.

10. Undertaking Affidavit in prescribed format.
11. Gap Certificate if applicable in prescribed format
