Webinar on Internet of Things in Mechanical Engineering
Staff and Students of Mechanical Engg Department of Government Polytechnic College Kathua today participated in Webinar on Internet of Things in Mechanical Engineering. The resource person for the webinar was Dr. Kapil Goyal from NIT Jalandhar. He explained the critical role of Mechanical engineering in manufactured technologies, from cars to airplanes to refrigerators and how Internet of Things (IoT) is changing the way the products are designed, prototyped and manufactured. He explained relation between Manufacturing and IoT’s in various sector and recent developments. Er Arun Bangotra, Principal Govt Polytechnic Kathua thanked Mr Vipan Bansal and Mr Ved Raj Khullar from DAV University Jalandhar for the webinar and emphasize the importance of such Webinars for students to upgrade their know.
