World Environment Day-2022

In order to raise awareness about World Environment Day, two days environmental awareness campaign concluded today at Govt Polytechnic kathua under the guidance of Principal, Er. Arun Bangotra. Day 1st started with a theme of one student one plant compaign. The event was conducted by Govt Polytechnic kathua in collaboration with the Department of Social Forestry, J&K. The students and staff members planted saplings in the college campus.On day 2nd, a painting competition was organised on the theme of Saving Environment. Students from various semesters participated in the event. The winners were felicitated by the Principal, Er. Arun Bangotra. He said that Day is celebrated to raise awareness and as a concern for our environment as it provides a platform for promoting the dimensions of environmental sustainable development goals. The organisers for the compaign were Jasdeep Kaur, Lecturer, I&C, Anshul Mahajan, Lecturer, Mechanical, Vishal Sharma, Demonstrator Munish Sharma and Ravi Kumar, Instructor.
