Under the aegis of *Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign* launched by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, *Government Polytechnic Kathua* today organised "Tiranga Rally" which was flagged off by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the Institution. All the faculty, staff and students of the institution participated enthusiastically in the rally and distributed Tiranga among the residents of the local Area. The rally was organised to instill the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and spread the national values of oneness, harmony and universal brotherhood between the citizens of India and the National Flag.The rally started from the college premises to IRP headquarters to changrain village and back to the college.

While flagging off the rally, Er. Arun Bangotra Principal Government Polytechnic Kathua encouraged all the students to work for the betterment of the nation and also thrown light on the compaign Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and motivated the students to hoist the national flag on 75th year of Independence. The event was organized by faculty of college Anshul Mahajan, Jasdeep Kaur, Vishal Sharma, Ravi Kumar, Munish Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar and Shamsher Chand.
